Where It All Began

Southeast Dermatology started as a partnership between Dr. Jennifer Tangtatco and Dr. Bryan Guevara in Sibley Medical Arts Building at Brokenshire Hospital in 2017. Both have different specialties, including medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, pediatric dermatology, phototodermatology, wound care, dermatopathology, immunodermatology, and molecular dermatology, thus, patients are assured to have an extensive assessment and management.

These dermatologists started to see the importance of health and wellness as they see more patients in the clinic who suffer from chronic illness, not just problems related to dermatology. Hence, they expanded their services beyond the conventional dermatology and aesthetic medicine to wellness and functional medicine in 2021. Adding to the team is Dr. Casper Alcaraz, who specializes in holistic nutrition and functional medicine.

Southeast Dermatology is a group of individuals who built a practice with people like you in mind. We are a team of specialists, with combined expertise in dermatology, plastic surgery and functional medicine. Together we aim to provide you with comprehensive healthcare that is tailored to your individual needs.

Our derma in davao is equipped with state of the art facilities, top of the line laser machines, specialised treatment and procedure rooms and phototherapy services.

Jennifer Tangtatco

Dr. Jennifer Aileen Ang-Tangtatco

MD, FPDS, CWSP

She is a graduate of University of Santo Tomas.

Dr. Jennifer Tangtatco trained in Pediatric Dermatology at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada under the program of University of Toronto. She then trained in Phototherapy and Photobiology at the National Skin Centre in Singapore. She also passed the examination of the American Board of Wound Management and is a Certified Wound Specialist Physician.

Bryan Guevara

Dr. Bryan Edgar Ko Guevara

MD, FPDS, FDSP-PDS
He is a graduate of Davao Medical School Foundation.

Dr. Bryan Guevara trained abroad for dermatopathology, immunodermatology and molecular dermatology in the US (Mt. Sinai (NY), Yale University Hospital & Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania), UK (King’s College, London), and Taiwan (Mackay Memorial Hospital & National Cheng Kung University Hospital). He also passed the dermatopathology board exams in the Philippines, Asian Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (Taiwan) and International Committee for Dermatopathology (Frankfurt).

casper alcaraz - functional medicine physician

Dr. Casper Alcaraz

MD, RHN, CFMP

He graduated from Davao Medical School Foundation in 2010.

Dr. Casper Alcaraz is a Functional Medicine Physician & Nutritionist. He studied Natural Nutrition Program in Ontario, Canada in 2014 and received the Registered Holistic Nutrition designation with the highest Distinction in class. He further educated himself in USA and finished Functional Medicine. In addition, he is a board passer both in Canada and USA.

Dr. Casper uses individualized, patient-centred, science-based approach to address the root cause of the disease and promote the body’s ability to heal itself towards optimal wellness.
